Patricia Berry

The travelling companion of Miss Francesca Nicholson, Patricia is the daughter of a wealthy banker and lives a quiet life of voluntary work and solitary pleasures. She likes to read romantic novels such as the work of Jane Austen of the Brontes and dressed conservatively, although she is quite pretty when she makes the effort.

En route to India she found herself the object of Julian Knight's afections which led to Captain Withers stepping in to protect her from that obvious cad. Consequently she ended up spending a lot of time with Withers, and despite the Captain's efforts to keep things purely platonic seems to have somewhat fallen for him.
